The order doesn’t end at checkout.

Giving online orders and offline follow-ups a shared place to be understood.

The thought to keep

Every open order needs a visible owner and a next action.

Article / 05

The customer sees a confirmation. The team sees work still to do. A useful order view connects those two perspectives without pretending that every sale follows the same path.

Start with the open work

The dummy view groups orders by what needs attention. Each example has an order reference, a current stage and an owner. The layout makes an unassigned action visible instead of assuming someone will remember it.

Keep manual decisions visible

Some orders need a call before they can move forward. The illustrative record gives that decision a place alongside automated events. A manual step is easier to coordinate when the team can see why it exists and who is handling it.

Review the handover

The proposed screen can be reviewed with a small set of invented orders. Ask whether another person could pick up each one without a separate explanation. No change in fulfilment speed or sales is claimed here.

Sample note for layout review. Its situations and examples are fictional.
